I recently wanted to check out the new Coinbase Bundle and see what exactly the breakdown would look like if I purchased it. While they give you a chart showing percentages on their website they really leave it up to the user to do their own calculations. While simple enough to figure out I went ahead and purchased a $100 worth of the bundle to give you a picture of what you can expect. Keep in mind with price swings heavily fluctuating in the digital currency world this data is really only good for a few minutes, but should give you an idea of what to expect.
How $100.00 breaks down with the Coinbase bundle, minus the $0.99 cents fee. So you’re actually only buying $99.01 worth of crypto currencies. Specifically Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and Litecoin. I personally wouldn’t spend much investment on Ethereum Classic these days, but whatever, it’s the bundle and you don’t get to choose your options or spreads; at least for now.
And here is what I ended up with after my Coinbase bundle purchase:
Bitcoin | 0.01140000 |
Bitcoin Cash | 0.01180000 |
Litecoin | 0.03960000 |
Ethereum | 0.06830000 |
Ethereum Classic | 0.06950000 |
Well, hope you found this interesting and that it helps some of you understand how the Coinbase bundle works and what type of breakdowns you’d expect from tossing $100 at cryptocurrency with this specific product.
Personally if you’re new to Crypto and have money to lose, I’d focus on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin only. If you have lots of money to lose I’d say take a chance on some of the other coins available. Of course. I’m not a super investor, won’t make you rich and at the end of the day don’t take any advice but your own 😉
