The wine industry embraces Cryptocurrencies

Who knew the wine industry would embrace accepting cryptocurrency.

Per Bytecoin’s ecosystem page Domaine de Cromey now accepts the currency and per a recent tweet Burgundy Wine Cellars is now as well.

Previously LeLièvre Wines adopted Bitcoin as a payment method as well as Pyramid Valley Vineyards  in New Zealand sees the currency as a development in line with its innovative approach to the wine business.

California’s Mondo Cellars winery also embraced bitcoin by selling shares to fund expansion of its operations.

The Rollingdale winery in British Columbia, Canada, has traded bitcoins for bottles since February, and was the first in North America to do so.

The Picnic Wine Company in California’s Napa Valley also announced it would accept bitcoin back in April.
